I’ve recently migrated a site with all in one wp migration plugin. It went really well. I was trying to actualize some stuff with the Icegram Express plugin but it doesn’t matter if I select the classic editor or drop editor I can’t do any editing on the campaign page. I can’t save either.
There was an option for database upgrade which I clicked. I deleted most of the data and only then realized that I don’t have a plugin backup. I still have the plugin working on the old site but I can’t find any way to do plugin backup apart of exporting contacts.
I’ve already uninstalled the plugin selecting deleting all data. When installing the plugin again some very data still remained though.
So, I’ve been doing some testings and on the old site and on localhost the plugin is still working and I can set up campaigns or create forms but on this new server it doesn’t work. If I click on save or close in the editor window nothing is happening.
After reviewing your queries, I suggest that you disable the editor-related options in your user profile. Please follow these steps:
Step 1: Select the “Edit Profile” option.
Step 2: Uncheck the boxes related to the visual editor.
If you still do not see the classic and DND editor after following these steps, please check the console for any JavaScript-related errors by using the “Inspect” tool. If you find any errors, kindly share a screenshot with us.
Thanks for taking the time looking into this! In the meanwhile I got in touch with the hosting provided and they suggested to install Enable jQuery Migrate Helper. This plugin serves as a temporary solution, enabling the migration script for sites to give plugins and theme authors some more time to update, and test, their code.
This plugin has solved the issue for now but it’s weird that I need a plugin for a plugin to work…
I can’t see your .png images but the checkboxes of “disable visual editor when writing and syntax highlighting” were unchecked on the user profile page.
Regarding your concern, I had previously attached the required screenshot, but I noticed that it didn’t show up. I have attached the screenshot again here please click on thislink to show the screenshot.
Additionally, could you please confirm whether the issue is resolved? If it is not, we will investigate further.
Those two checkboxes were unchecked and the plugin didn’t work.
Well, if I deactivate the JQuery Migrate plugin then Icegram Express stops working. With JQuery Migrate Activated (which facilitates older jQuery code to work) Icegram works.
Not sure if I can call that resolved but it works now.
