• I installed your plugin and made sure not to use “persistent mode” as I knew I would eventually want to re-establish comments.

And here I am…at the point of re-enabling comments and the entire capability has vanished from my site. I have gone through the admin procedures as you suggested in another thread with the same issue. I have done bulk edit and individual edits.

    Nothing.

I deactivated and ultimately deleted your plugin, but to no avail.

I deactivated all other plugins. Nothing.

I switched themes to see if it was a theme problem, and still…no comments.

I know you say the plugin makes no changes to a site’s underlying code, but after going through all this, I find that hard to believe.

I’m not too pleased. Any suggestions as to how this can get resolved?

Oh, yeah, I forgot to add: My install is on Nginx, in case that might be relevant. My hosting company also informed me that a caching plugin is not needed for this type of install.

I mention this because in another thread you mentioned that there might be some caching issue. Maybe there’s a Nginx issue with your plugin?

Firstly, thanks for at least trying to find a solution in part forum threads – far too many people just let rip.

Your problem is quite unique and I would need to look at your site to be able to make any suggestions. If you send me the following (either here or by email), I will have a look:

    – Link to the site.
    – Link to a page which had comments, which doesn’t show the comments now.
    – List of other plugins installed.
