As of October 5, 2018, installing this plugin causes the following error:

“Connection lost. Saving has been disabled until you’re reconnected. We’re backing up this post in your browser, just in case.”

As soon as I deactivated this plugin and refreshed the page I was trying to edit, the message disappeared.

The developer should check these resources to correct the problem:
- Autosave Interval
- WordPress support forum topic, “Connection lost. Saving has been disabled until you’re reconnected.”

In short, it’s a CSS selector issue revealing some UI unintentionally. The “essential” functionality with editing and this type of notice is not broken by any means.

We have this planned to rectify in a 1.4.1 release.
