After the upgrade, I cannot set inventory by variation.

Existing products are OK.

New products: If I select the check box per variation, it allows me to set the quantity, backorders etc but it will not save these settings.

Disaster.

Thanks for the report.

I’ve managed to reproduce this and have patched here: https://github.com/woothemes/woocommerce/commit/534383342774ea082b306713621551d1ffefaabc

As a temporary workaround, turn on stock for the variation or apply the patch manually.

You can’t turn stock on, it doesn’t save the setting. In any case, that’s the reported fault, it can’t be the solution.

I’m referring to the variable product (parent) itself. Or apply the fix I posted…
