We have installed and activated the plugin MaxButtons PRO. After some weeks of use, we realize that the plugin Broken Link Checker does not detect broken links of the MaxButton PRO.
This is a big problem for us as we have noticed that plenty of links of the buttons are broken but we do not get any notice about it.

Please see here an example:
on our homepage, it has in the sidebar at the bottom a button with the wording “Jetzt Künstler kostenlos inserieren”. Please see this print screen: https://picload.org/view/drdlilcr/bildschirmfoto2017-11-05um13.4.png.html

Although the plugin tells there are no broken links, it has some (in our case many). Please see the print screen about no broken links found: https://picload.org/view/drdlilcl/bildschirmfoto2017-11-05um13.4.png.html

What do we need to change in order that the link checker tests the links of MaxButtonPRO as well?

Hi Philipp,

We don’t really do support for the PRO version here ( but on our website – https://maxbuttons.com/forums ). But I’ll answer anyway.

It seems that this plugin is not going to work with MaxButtons easily. Maybe there is some other way to have the plugin monitor the URL’s but nothing I know about.

I’ll put it on our list though for plugin we might integrate in.
