this probably conflicts with 3rd party plugin, can you please deactivate others plugin one by one to check if any 3rd party plugin causes the issue.

I am not sure if this is a conflict with your theme,
Can you please go edit plugin file and templates/query.php
and commented out the line //global $wp_query;
and then save the file.

Thanks for the quick reply! I made the change to query.php, but unfortunately, the issue persists. All plugins except post grid are deactivated.
Any other suggestions?
I also tried switching the theme to Twenty Nineteen and the issue persisted (with both versions of query.php). I am switching it back to Pro Theme
Ok! I have discovered that if I change “post offset” to 0 in the post grid settings, the pagination works! But if I change it to 1, the issue occurs.

This seems to be an old WP version issue, haven’t reported this issue recently. Which version of WP are you using?
