broken pattern images

My website is showing broken images / 404 requests for images that the theme provides. Specifically for:
wp-content/themes/evolve/library/media/images/shadow.png
wp-content/themes/evolve/library/media/images/pattern/pattern_8.png

The first image I don’t see installed at all on my server. The second image is there, but when I open it up on my server, none of the patterns are valid images. I tried reinstalling Evolve theme to see if it was only my files and got the same result. Please advise.
