Hello,
After installing the plugin I received a msg from my site warning me it created an error.
I went to settings / media (i forgot the second word)… and I got a wordpress error saying i should go safe mode

Could you please post this error message? The plugin has 100 000+ installations and 40% of them are the latest version. So, at least 40 000+ have it installed and active. The issue does not seem to be something that everyone experiences.

I installed EML 2.8.1 on WP 5.5.3, PHP 7.4.13, and Minimal Grid 1.2.8. All works well. No errors in the log at all. Could you please try to deactivate other plugins (temporarily) to check if there is any incompatibility?
