• For the past few days, when attempting to search the support forums, I’ve been getting an error message on the results page:

WordPress database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘m working on a Plug-in to embed Gallery2, and gallery pictures. … Exactly like’ at line 3]

    I’m using Firefox 1.5 / Windows

Hopefully I’m not reporting this in the wrong place.

Oops, that was the error I saw when I listed source, I actually see (in red letters on a pink background) when I tried “LZIL” as a keyword search:

XML Parsing Error: xml declaration not at start of external entity
    Location: http://search.ww.wp.xz.cn/lzil
    Line Number 63, Column 31:

Check the second sticky in the forums here (pink and titled “[closed] How to search the forums”)

Thanks HandySolo. I didn’t realize that the search button was broken by design 🙂

Oh, probably not by design. I think the preferred term is “unanticipated feature”… 😉

Personally, I enjoy the irony of steering folks to Google to search here considering that first big honkin’ banner under the “Hosting” section.

*snicker* Yeah. That’s probably the “new definition” of ironic….
