I have been using this plugin for e lot of time, but recently I have noticed a change I don’t like. If I click on the Printfriedly icon to print/create pdf, I have to wait for a while that the pdf is generating but then – every time – a modal appairs, saying “Ack! Print technology timed-out while trying to connect to this page.” and “This page requires the PrintFriendly & PDF Browser Extension”.
Does this plugin require a browser extension now??? Please, confirm that it is not true!
I use version 4.1.

I don’t see a PrintFriendly button on that page and Printfriendly code isn’t included in the page.

Sorry, usually the Printfriendly button is protected for non-registered users. You can see it on this page: https://zeninthecity.org/pagina-per-solo-test/

I am facing this same issue. I am now required to have a browser extension. Has this been resolved?

PrintFriendly plugin free version works only on public pages.
For password protected pages you need to subscribe to Pro. A trial of Pro can be activated from the settings page
