Browser Notifications not working in Brave Browser

I am not sure if this is a known issue, but I cannot get browser notifications to work in Brave Browser. They work great in Safari and Chrome, but not Brave. Permissions are granted, but it gives an error when attempting to Enable / Subscribe to notifications “Failed to subscribe to Web Push notifications. Please ensure that your web browser permission settings allows to send notifications at this website”.
