Brute Force Attacks

Hi, my site is under attack from brute force attacks. It is using up all of my bandwidth. I have configured Ithemes Security, but it hasn’t seemed to help. Why would Ithemes Security not recognize the attacks as Brute Force Attacks? Any advice you could give me?
