That is actually a shortcode which would work only if you have activated the BlossomThemes Email Newsletter and the shortcode should be valid.
Anyway, you can remove the shortcode via the Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > General Settings > Newsletter Settings

The only option I am given is to install and activate the BlossomThemes Email Newsletter. Since we use MailChimp for email campaigns I do not wish to do this.
How else do I remove it?
