Buddypress and cache

I’ve read a few threads on caching and buddypress. Since installing I’ve seen issues with page refresh, particularly with messaging. It needs a page refresh in order to show new messages and threads. This happens on the desktop and on mobile.

I know you haven’t tested with Buddypress, but as an issue I thought it was worth noting. I wouldn’t mind the ability to control caching and offline usage as the main thing to me would be installation on home screen and lack of browser chrome.
