buddypress drop down list

yo guys just wanted to know how can i do a drop down style on the profile page of buddypress like when you hover over activity it drops down ‘view’ ‘edit’ etc.

do i need css only or i have to do some hard coding aswell??

any answers with a little example would be really appericiated
