Allow BuddyPress to function on multiple blogs of a WPMU installation, not just on one root blog:
define ( 'BP_ENABLE_MULTIBLOG', true );

Which is to say, you can do this with MultiSite and BuddyPress 🙂
This was looking very promising until i clicked the visit random member/group button top right and groups and members from a different sub domain popped up….. if i hide this bar will the members/groups still be ‘searchable’ or visible with the correct URL? – ie you cant lock subdomain members away from other sub domain groups and members?
thanks for your help
Yep and sadly……nope……it isn’t going to work…..but salvation may come in the form of Bbpress which may do enough to suit my needs….
Maybe there is a bp plugin to control group visibility?
bp = BuddyPress
bbp = bbPress
There are BuddyPress plugins for group visibility, as I recall. You may need to ask on buddypress.org
