Buddypress Links Plugin Template Broken

I have been having difficult with buddypress links library plugin. The links page template is broken.

However, if I approach it from the profile page its visible. I did a search and found a 1 year old article suggesting to add <div> but never explained where.

I have been waiting for an update hoping it would be resolved. No such luck.

Can anyone help?
I would prefer to use buddypress links instead of links library.
