    Looks like this can happen when one of the avatar folders doesn’t exist.

    Can you confirm that either the uploads/avatars/ or uploads/group-avatars/ folder does not exist on your setup?

    Also, if one of those is missing, is it because you have somehow configured buddypress to use different locations for avatars, or just because you don’t have the related features enabled?
