Does this app handle push notifications from Buddypress? I mean for Buddypress groups etc. for e.g. replies to a user’s post or reply, private messages, friend notifications etc.
The test app doesn’t. I need this feature, I can’t purchase a licence until I know it works.
    Thanks!

    Hi 🙂

A push notification is sended when a new notification is added on the buddypress notification system.

The user will receive the push if he is logged in the app.

    Thank you @amauric,

Maybe I need to be clearer about what I mean. I understand that Buddypress sends push notifications to logged-in users, but you have to be already browsing the site, either via app or browser, to receive them. What I really want is for these notifications to appear when the user is NOT browsing the site (but still logged-in) – in the phone’s notifications bar (top of the screen for Android and Apple phones) so that they can pull-down the top of the screen, click on the notification and be taken directly to the relevant Buddypress post or comment in the relevant Buddypress group.

The user will be already logged in, because the app will store their login details when they first log in with the app. But if their phone is in their pocket, or they’re looking at a different app, I still want the Buddypress notifications to appear in the notification bar at the top of the phone screen. Similar to other phone apps (email, facebook etc).
    Does WPMobile do this?

    Many thanks!
