In BuddyPress the BuddyPress native private message buttons are getting automatically replaced by the plugin.
So I not sure what are you asking about?
I use youzify and the only way to send a message is from my profile,

by searching members, i would like every profile to have a button to be able when you visit the profile to send message directly to that profile.

Youzify buttons should be replaced too, dont you have private message button at youzify profile?

Im not big expert in Youzify, but probably you disabled that button somewhere at their plugin settings?
from what they told me, there is not this option, thats why i look for custom solution.
But in my website with youzify installed, private message button displays just out of the box

Im not sure they understood you – you just need to enable standard buddypress send message button, that should be very basic.
Anyway if you want to go custom, you need to go that way which require PHP knowledge:

the private messaging in enabled.
I found out what was the problem, BuddyPress Follow button covers the message button.

But that small message button in the right side of unfollow probably the private message button?
yes it is but it looks like is part of unfollow button, at least it confused me.
Seems like that is solution from BuddyPress Follow plugin to not remove Private Messages button completely 🙂
