    Hello everyone!

I’m working on a new website, using the Avada theme for WordPress.

I’ve tried to install the plugin via the plugin “shop” in WordPress and also by adding the zip folder. However, I keep having the same message error and it doesn’t load.

    Could someone help me?

Here the error message via the “plugin shop”: Installation failed: Could not copy file. the-events-calendar/common/lang/tribe-common-sk_SK.po

Thanks in advance for your help!

  • Good morning @melissawbi,

First off, I would like to apologize for the delay answering.
We are currently experiencing a higher level of requests than usual.

Please rest assured that we are working hard at correcting this situation.
We appreciate your patience while we try to normalize things.

This is an odd message indeed. It sounds like a permission issue.

The first thing I would recommend is to completely deactivate and delete the Events Calendar.

Secondly, using your FTP client or CPanel’s file manager, head over to /wp-content/plugins/ and make sure there is no trace of the Events Calendar.

Once that is done, manually upload the plugin’s file to /wp-content/plugins/

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.
