I am trying to publish an article to Apple News and keep getting the same error over and over again – There has been an error with the API. Please make sure your API settings are correct and try again: The attachment <filename.jpg> could not be included in the request because its size was 0.

I have read previous messages on this support forum which seem to intimate to similar messages, and can confirm that allow_url_fopen is turned on in my PHP config, so I don’t think that’s the issue.

Can you please provide a link to the article that’s causing the issue?

Is filename.jpg the real file name?

Thanks for getting back to me, Bradford – the link to one of the article in question is http://blog.screeningapp.co.uk/article/batmans-back-first-trailers-lego-batman-movie/ and, no, filename.jpg isn’t the real file name, it’s just a placeholder for the actual filename of the featured image.

Just for clarity, the featured image is the large banner image at the top of the page.
