I deactivated all plugins and purged the cache at the server. I’m still seeing the same problem.
More details: The Media Library works when viewed in List view, but doesn’t load when in Gallery view. It appears that setting Featured Image defaults to the Gallery view. I can switch to Upload and am able to set a new featured image that way, but can not choose an existing image.
Another problem I’ve noticed is that when I activate or deactivate a plugin, the resulting page is blank. If I go back to the previous page and reload, my changes have been applied.

Unfortunately, I am unable to reproduce the issue.
I successfully uploaded an image, both by setting it as the featured image and from the WordPress media page. Perhaps it might depend on the number of images on your site.
Could you record a video showing the error you mentioned?
What version of PHP are you using?
If you activate the parent theme Janey, do you encounter the same error?

PHP is 8.2.27
Janey works. JaneyMag does not.
Though the site is live it is essentially still under development. I can set you up a temporary admin account if you’re willing to have a look. What email address should I use? Feel free to DM.
