When I do:

## This text renders correctly

# This text does not render in the fronted correctly, but does in backend. It looks like it’s rendering it as an <ol>.

Could you please update to the latest version 3.20.11 – on the settings the version number might still display 3.20.10 but the latest is indeed 3.20.11 sorry for that -, and :
1. from the “Layout” tab to make sure the H1 is allowed like this :

2. from the “AutoPlugs” tag to make sure the o2 plug is disabled like this :
  https://mega.nz/file/QsdCjB4I#1wcTl4Zi09HypNjTSliL9hB8kU_0zSWp8UEgkE7MIsg
Then please resave your settings – even if nothing has been modified – and clear your server / browser cache if need be and give a new try ? 🙏 That should work as expected 🤞
