I have a problem with the related post. It is displaying post that are not from our website.
Can some one please let me know how to stop displaying external website post on my website?

From the article above, have you checked the box “Exclude from Related Content”? Let me know!
Hi Sony Merlin– The content you are seeing is part of a feature called Promoted Content https://blog.shareaholic.com/generate-revenue-shareaholic-promoted-content/. Those that do display Promoted Content get paid accordingly and can track performance/earnings here: https://shareaholic.com/earn/dashboard

Yes, before reporting this fault I try to put the url in the section that you comment but had no effect.
Have you not been able to reproduce this case in any of your websites?
I do not know if this affects but I am using the shortcode to place the related post.
I am using Wp Types to create different types of publications that could affect, but the problem here is that the article does not already exist, does the plugin saves a copy or where it gets the title of the article?

Thanks for your patience! It appears that the URL: http://superideas.com.mx/xxx/ is no longer appearing as a recommendation and is being excluded properly. Can you please verify from your end that you are seeing these changes?

Indeed the post xxx no longer appears, however there are other posts that were created and deleted, you can see at the bottom of the main page, there are several posts that were deleted without image and still appear in related post.
I hope you can soon find the fault

I found that Shareaholic caches your content and the caching is SLOW! basically, everytime someon clicks on related contnet it goes through Shareaholics servers firrt ( you can see this byt the brief URL change in the browser)
I would remove this plugin if you are updating your site a lot.
For me it’s ok as I dont update my site very often.
The only option is to reindex it every day (you can only do this once every 24hrs) and add exceptions. It is all under the plugin settings. Let me know if you can’t find it.

The website is about classified advertising, in which can happen more regularly is that someone creates an ad and expires next month, we agree that goes away and also of the contents of shareaholic.
That must be that should happen, I don’t know if that’s too fast :p
By now appear content over 5 days ago were eliminated, that’s not good!, and is very very slow.
Another thing that happened, I create another copy of my site on a subdomain of another domain, copy the entire database.
the funny thing is I generated publications on the other site(2) and eliminated, but appear in the related content superideas.com.mx(1) why mix the post of one on the other?.
I do not much like that behavior, I would like to know how to clean the cache that you comment.

Thanks so much for your patience on this! You’re right – articles that no longer exist should be removed from your Related Content. This may possibly be a bug. Do you mind sending me a list of URLs that you have tried excluding? For some reason, I’m unable to pull up a list from my end.
