    Hi there,

    I’d like to report a bug with the latest version of this plug-in. It seems to have created a new required field in the user profile in a new category called ‘Extra profile information’ where an email address is required.

    It means there’s now two email address fields in the user profile that are required before data can be saved to the profile.

    Sorry I cannot see what are you telling me.

    Our plugin does not make required any field there.

    I’d done some testing to verify this before reporting, disabling plugins until the field disappeared. I’m happy to double check it again.

    Here is a screenshot where you can see the issue I’m referring to. A field called ’email’ appears under ‘Extra profile information’:

    This is really strange, email should be added there.

    Can you deactivate extra profile information to hide it?

    Hi Javier,

    Thanks for that, it’s done the trick! I don’t recall the option being enabled in the settings before but I guess one of the staff that helps administrate users accidentally created an additional field in a CSV import that forced this option to be enabled? Who knows, thanks for your help.

    If you activate it, you can edit those field into user profile, but yes, we should not add there “email”.

    I have to improve it.
