When your plugin is enabled and I try to exit the menu editor I get a popup asking if I want to leave the page, like I edited something and forgot to save it. Happens even if I just view and never change anything.

Goes away when I disable your plugin.

It’s not a conflict with Nav Menu Roles or BAW Login/Logout menu which are the only two other menu plugins I use.

  • Hey Dave.

This is not really a bug. WordPress core’s JS on this page will open that popup when you make a change. You can confirm this by disabling Menu Icons, make a change to a menu item field and click on other links.

Now, when you load the Menus page, Menu Icons need to trigger the change event on the hidden fields to initialize its functionalities, and this action is captured by core which then opens the popup.

I’ll take a look into enhancing this in the future though because I too find it just a little bit annoying 🙂
