We have released a new version just now. We don’t know exactly how the WP theme that you’re using works, but most probably the bug must be fixed.

Hi there – yes the bug is gone but so is the functionality – I don`t see any ‘new’ sign at any new post.
Hi. Is the plugin activated on your site right now?
Please check our new release. There’s a new option in the “advanced settings” block that toggles the markup check. Try disabling it and see if the plugin works, and then enable it again.
In the latest version of the plugin there’s an option that fixes most of the markup problems.
