In one of your latest updates did you drop support for the latest Internet Explorer (11) ?
Basically the popup links are no longer clickable.
And it only happens in this browser. For debugging purposes:
– I am using latest WordPress 5.4.2, latest Popup Maker 1.10.2, latest Internet Explorer 11.0.9600
– I deactivated all other pluginsMaybe you can check on your side.
Thank you,
Andrei.

Hello @andrei0luca – sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you.
I tried this on my own test site but was not able to replicate your problem.
I would suggest you check out this documentation and see if it gives you anything useful to go on: Checking JavaScript Errors – https://docs.wppopupmaker.com/article/373-checking-javascript-errors
I hope that helps. Otherwise, for us to assist you further with your issue, you can escalate it directly to our HelpScout support desk. Check out this link: https://wppopupmaker.com/support/ Thank you.
Hi Maria
It looks like I have the same problem as Andrei.
Suddenly Popup Maker does’nt work anymore on IE11… All other browers do show the popups.Best,
DidierHello @zuperuser – sorry for the inconvenience.
Please make sure the theme in use and our Popup Maker plugin are both updated to its latest version. After that, check again if it is now working correctly on Internet Explorer 11.
We have encountered users having the same issue and when they updated their tools to the latest version, that seems to fix this type of problem.
Let us know how that goes on your end.
Hi Maria,
I created for you a new WordPress install (latest version 5.4.2).
It installed itself with it’s default Twenty Twenty theme. In this WordPress I put only one thing: Popup Maker plugin (latest version 1.10.2).
There is nothing else in this WordPress. You can see that the popup is NOT CLICKABLE IN IE11:
https://www.sensomap.com/test/test-popup/I also made these pictures for you here and here.
If needed I can also provide you the credentials to sign in this WordPress.
Thank you,
AndreiHi Maria
Thank you for your reply.
Unfortunately, all plugins and the theme are up-to-date but the popup is still not triggering on IE11.Best,
DidierHello guys, @zuperuser @andrei0luca
We will need to escalate this issue to our lead developer and as soon as we get any new information regarding this then we will reply to this thread with an update.
We appreciate your patience.
@zuperuser, Sorry for the delay but I have tested this myself several times now. I can’t get any errors and popups work for me with all tests I set up.
I do see it broken on @andrei0luca and I see an error that I think we can work to resolve.
Look for a patch later this week.
Hi @danieliser
Great plugin and thank you for your support.
Looking forward to fixing this.Hi guys, @zuperuser @mariatogonon

https://www.sensomap.com/test/test-popup/Thank you,
AndreiHello @andrei0luca – apologies for the delayed response.
Please could you try adding this script to the head of your theme template?
<script src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/bluebird/3.3.5/bluebird.min.js"></script>Since Internet Explorer 11 is an old browser then it doesn’t support the native promise library. You can try to add the script above to your theme template. This will pull in an external Bluebird Promise Library so that you will be able to use Promise on IE 11. After that, kindly let us know if that solves the problem that you are experiencing using IE browsers.
If that helps, then we would very much appreciate it if you could quickly rate the plugin, just to help us spread the word.
Let us know.
Hi guys, @mariatogonon @danieliser
It’s been 2 months since I sent this bug report but I’m glad the plugin now works in Internet Explorer 11.
At this point maybe you should take one of the following steps:
1) You could say it out loud that Popup Maker is no longer compatible with Internet Explorer 11. I’m sure few developers are aware of this. Everyone should be able to measure the impact (if any) on it’s business.
2) You could use this script as an option only for developers who still need compatibility with Internet Explorer 11.
3) You could integrate the script in a plugin update and maintain compatibility with Internet Explorer 11. As mentioned in your documentation:
https://docs.wppopupmaker.com/article/172-which-web-browsers-work-with-popup-makerThank you again for providing the script,
Andrei
