    Hi, guys.

This is a fairly easy one. My 404 page has a side rail with Ultimate Social Media Plus on it. I get the following:

Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /home/wyomingi/public_html/windriver/wp-content/plugins/ultimate-social-media-icons/ultimate_social_media_icons.php on line 61

Line 61 uses $post->post_content, but $post evidently doesn’t get set on a 404. Might add an error check for that.

    Thanks.

    Jared

Thanks Jared. What’s your blog url? Does the issue also exist in this plugin https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/ultimate-social-media-plus/?

It is a site still in development.

Sorry, I misspoke. I’m using Ultimate Social Media Icons not Ultimate Social Media Plus.

Ok, I guess it’s because your site is in developer mode. We’ll look into it, however could you please try it on the live site?

By development I just mean it is sitting on a staging server instead of a production server. There is no diff. between the code that is out there and a live server. It shouldn’t really matter.

However, we are running a 3rd party theme and it might tweak the 404’s a bit. I haven’t looked into it that far.
