I have installed the plugin and created the 3 views
    – Display
    – Form
    – Slideshow

I have created a page for the form with the shortcode form
I then displayed the Display view on the page where I need to see the testimonials

Then I tested it by creating 1 testimonial. On the admin view, there is a 1 appearing behind testimonial. I click on it and on the table where testimonial should appear for approval, there is nothing. On the pending filter, there is a 1 and when I click on it still nothing.

So apparently, the testimonial is somewhere but I cannot see it.

When I go to the page where the testimonial should appear, there is nothing.

Can someone help to debug this.

  • Hi @melazzouzi,

    Thank you for reaching out.
Please allow me to better understand this issue.
When you go to your dashboard > Testimonials > All testimonials > you do not see any there?
It shows one in Pending but it’s actually not there? Please keep in mind that testimonials need to be published in order to display in a view.
Can you create another one and publish it?

If it still does not work, I recommend installing this plugin: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/health-check/
After you install and activate the above plugin it has a Troubleshooting mode which allows you to have a vanilla WordPress session, where all plugins are disabled, and a default theme is used, but only for your user – your visitors will still see the normal website.

Go to its troubleshoot mode and only activate ST and see if this still happens with a default WordPress theme and no other plugins.
Let me know if it does.

    Thank you,
    Mihaela

    Hi @mplusb

I did the troubleshooting action and the testimonials appear now on the dashboard > Testimonials > All testimonials >

    What does it mean?

When I disable it again, the testimonials don’t appear again.
    I am using theme Hestia.

    Hi @melazzouzi,

It means there is an incompatibility with the theme/or a plugin.
To find which one, you can either use that plugin to activate plugins one by one and see which is causing the issue.
Or to go Plugins > disable all of your plugins, except ST and reactivate them one by one until you find the culprit.

    Warmly,
    Mihaela
