Bug when using TranslatePress
-
I am using this guide to successfully have emails sent out in english/french depending on the language that the user is using on the donation form. https://translatepress.com/how-to-translate/charitable-plugin/
We only have offline donations for now.
The user receives the initial offline donation in the correct language. But I couldn’t figure out why sometimes they received the wrong language when I flipped their donation to paid.
Turns out that if I use View on their donation in the donation list (you can see the correct donor locale code to the right in the Donation Details), and then flip their donation to Paid, they get the final donation receipt in the right language and their donation locale stays at the language they used to donate. If I flip their donation to Paid through the Edit button they get the final donation receipt in the default language, and the donation locale flips to the default language too.
So we have to remember (and possibly train not so computer literate volunteers) to always use View to flip and not Edit. Could this be fixed so the language is preserved for the Edit function too?
Thanks!
