Hello. Here is the problem I got. I found a custom code that brings a countdown until the sale offers ends. I found that really nice plugin called Axl Woo Sales Countdown, but when it’s working it’s hurting the website.

When the plugin is on or I have dropped it as a custom code my drop menu is not working:

I have no idea why, a friend told me that this is the problem:

I’m a total rookie in coding, so I have no idea why is this happening and how to fix it.

The second problem is again with drop menu, but this time it isn’t affected by the plugin.

Even as I marked to not show empty categories, it does. Some of the categories have listed as having a single product are also empty. I believe I know what is the problem, but again I have no idea why and how to fix it. The showed categories actually had products, which are right now listed as out of stock and hidden from the shop, but still exist as products. I don’t want to delete them, since we might have the products again, but it is really uncomfortable to see their categories in the drop menu. I’ll gladly take advice how to fix that too.

    Hey there,

Thanks for the clear issue description!

I found that really nice plugin called Axl Woo Sales Countdown, but when it’s working it’s hurting the website.

When the plugin is on or I have dropped it as a custom code my drop menu is not working:

If the problem. is happening as soon as the plugin is enabled, then you know the problem is due to the plugin. I recommend reaching out to the developers of the Woo Sales Countdown plugin.

Even as I marked to not show empty categories, it does. Some of the categories have listed as having a single product are also empty. I believe I know what is the problem, but again I have no idea why and how to fix it. The showed categories actually had products, which are right now listed as out of stock and hidden from the shop, but still exist as products

Products that are set as hidden from the catalog won’t be included in that product count, so won’t trigger the category to be listed.

Which plugin or widget is creating that dropdown?

Hi again. Thank you for the reply at first!

I have contacted with the developer, but he is unable to help me out. He gave me a link to a forum of developers and i’m going to look for help there, I hope soon it will be fixed.

The drop menu seems to be a based in woocommerce app as I haven’t add it or get it manually, so it should be an woo widget.
