bug with initial_event_id shortcode

Michael, whenever I include the initial_event_id attribute in my shortcode the <!–more–> breaks for that event. Below are two blank pages with only the Event List shortcode. Can you take a quick look and advise..

w/o initial_event_id –
[event-list num_events=’1′ show_filterbar=’false’]

Is there a workaround you can think of?
