I’m not sure how you define your custom fields by the Meta Box. Maybe you are trying to restrict something that should not been restricted. And this redirect to a blank page.
Can you please be more specific what are you trying to restring? Which plugin and metabox.

I’m trying to restrict some text elements that appear on the post, it’s nothing fundamental to the system.
I’m actually using the plugin called “meta box”, here it is: http://ww.wp.xz.cn/extend/plugins/meta-box/

as a small aside, since I don’t think this really warrants an individual post, but there seems to be a small css-sprite bug in the check lists on the 1.7.1 release.
Appreciate your feedback. I’ll check it tonight.
With CSS I already got couple emails 🙂 I’ll have to re-do the design by myself.

As an additional note, I’ve noticed the blank page only happens when I’m using an account that isn’t the admin.
If I use the admin account, I can restrict the meta-boxes with no problems. This occurs even if I set the sub-accounts to have the exact same capabilities as the admin account.
