We have built in DB cache to reduce mysql query load. for large variation products.
it should by default clear cache when you update the prices. and we already came to know its kind of hard to keep clearing cache when updating the prices and we are improving this in V4.0 which will be released soon.

the problem is that i import by other plugin the prices and this does not update the cache,
can I clear the database cache by hand?
is there no way to disable it completely? I don’t have too many products.

Hello, it also happens to me.
In my case I use the product importer to update the prices based on role. And I have to go product by product clearing the cache. Is there a way to clear all product cache?
