    Hello

The plugin has a major issue with editing conditions in the conditions tab. I have used this plugin for 1 year and during this time the issue persists. The issue occurs when you try to edit the Condition rules of more than one option. Only the last option’s Condition rules will be saved when hitting the Save button. Previous changes will not be saved. This happens every time and is reproducible.

    To reproduce the problem:
    1. Add 2 PPOM fields (for example field1 and field2) in a PPOM group
    2. Open field1, enable conditions, add some conditional rules
    3. Open field2, enable conditions, add some conditional rules
    4. Save Fields
    5. Opening field1 you can see that the changes you previously made are not there anymore. Opening field2 you can see that the changes are saved successfully.

This means only the latest changes (field2) in Conditions tab are saved and changes previous to that (field1) are ignored when saving. This means you have to “Save Fields” every time you make a change in Conditions tab. If you have a lot of options, then this is very time consuming.

I am interested in extending the support, but with this bug I am forced to look for a new plugin. I use a lot of conditionals on options so it is very time consuming. I really hope this can be fixed, as the plugin is otherwise very good.

    Best regards!

  • Hi @andrek123,

thanks for explaining this in details, we try to re-create as you described above but all our conditions are saved.

The issue which I know (which we are working on), it happens when you clone the field and then try to add conditions.

    Hi

Thanks for the answer. It really seems like the problem occurs with a cloned field group. I didn’t realize most of my fields are cloned and didn’t mention it in the problem description. Hopefully you can fix it soon.

If possible, could you let me know when the issue is fixed?

    Thanks
    Best regards

    Hi,

Yes we will update this thread once it’s fixed.

    Hello again!

Seems like this issue has not been fixed yet?

    Best regards

    Hi @andrek123,

thanks for following up on this. We are working on a new update called PPOM Energy Pack to give more energy to PPOM in terms of features and UI for both the back-end and front-end.

And this issue is resolved in this but it is under development and may take a couple of months to launch.

    Hi

Any news on this problem? It is affecting everyday work greatly – I have to check every single option’s conditions tab just in case something didn’t save again.

Do I understand correctly from your last reply that this issue will not be fixed in PPOM PRO plugin? And will be fixed with the new “Energy pack”? How much will this cost extra? I don’t think this is fair as PPOM PRO is a paid plugin and this issue is very prominent.

I am launching new site that would also need expanded product attributes. Please let me know if and when are you planning on releasing a fix for this problem. Unfortunately if it takes too long (2 months now) I need to search for alternative plugin for both my sites. I am satisfied with PPOM PRO overall, but this issue makes it unusable at times.

    Thanks and best regards

    Hi @andrek123,

It is not going to cost you extra, PPOM Energy Pack is actually is new look and feel of PPOM and it will part of PPOM Free version.

And we have almost done with it and it will be released this week.
