    Hello,
    I have got this while edit the page or post.
    It’s annoying. Please check the backend screenshot.

    I am using Jetpack and I have tried deactivated the plugins and clear the browser cache but no luck.

    I am having the same problem on all my sites in any theme.

    I already disabled all plugins, leaving only Yoast SEO active, and the error continues.

    @fahimmurshed We’re sorry that you are experiencing problems that might be caused by our plugin!

    Just to be sure, we would like to rule out any plugin or theme conflicts that may occur. The fastest way to do this is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Nineteen. 

    Test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check without affecting normal visitors to your site.

    As we can imagine that you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process: How to check for plugin conflicts.

    The screenshots show Yoast SEO as an active plugin but the Health Check report shows Yoast SEO is not active.

    Does the Yoast meta box appear when the plugin is not active? If not, please activate ONLY Yoast SEO on a default theme and take a screenshot of what you see when Yoast SEO is the only active plugin.

    Can you please try clearing your browser cache, cookies, and restarting your browser? It sounds intimidating but we’ve got some guides here to walk you through it.

    If the issue is still present after that, can you please try a different modern browser or try incognito mode? That’ll help us rule in/out the browser or browser extensions as the culprit.

    Also, I got same issue on my office pc (MAC with Valet).

    Same issue I have faced with Ranks Math SEO. Don’t know what happened with the WordPress Core Editor. I think that is not your issue but WordPress Gutenberg/core editor.

    A few days back, a guy asks the same issue on the WordPress theme review/plugins review slack channel.

    Hi Fahim,

    Thanks for following up. You are correct, there’s a known issue with Gutenberg and the latest version of Chrome. It is expected to be fixed in the next WordPress update.

    In the meantime, there are a few workarounds:
    1)Downgrade Google Chrome to the previous version
    2)Use a different browser, such as Firefox
    3)Add this PHP Snippet to your theme’s functions.php file
    4)Install the latest version of the Gutenberg plugin, it already includes the fix

    Any of these 4 options will work. I’ll mark this topic as resolved, as the issue is not on Yoast SEO’s side, but with Gutenberg.
