I think I’ve figured it out.
I added a product filter, selected “product categories” from the dropdown, and added a category, “Items” that includes every item in my store.
I then added a Bulk Rule, chose “Qty based on all matched products” and “Percentage discount.”
I added a range from 2-5 and set the discount to 10.
I was confused earlier when I saw that everything in the store was shown as being on sale, but I realize now that this does not happen until I put a second item in my cart.
If my cart has 0 or 1 item in it, everything in the store is full price.
If I add at least 2 items to my cart, everything shows as being 10% off.
Am I understanding all of this correctly? Is there a simpler way to do this, or did I do it correctly?

Hi
yes, you did it correct.
If I add at least 2 items to my cart, everything shows as being 10% off.
yes, this behavior confuses other users too. Read this topic https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/prices-bug-when-adding-one-or-two-products-to-cart-with-discounts/#post-11270911
We’ll add checkbox to disable it in next release.
thanks, Alex

The checkbox will be helpful. I may wait until the next release to add this discount rule.
Thank you for your help.
you’re welcome.
we still test new version
New option “Don’t modify product price at product page” added in version 1.6.0
I thought the check box would apply only to bulk discounts, but it looks like it applies to everything.
I tested this new version, but now it removes the sale price from the product page for ALL discounted products, and not just those eligible for bulk discounts.
I always have one product category on sale, and I would like for my customers to see that those products are discounted.
But for bulk discounts (10% off if you buy 2 items, for example) I thought changing the price of everything in the store once you have one item in your cart might be confusing for buyers.
Perhaps it is best for me to leave the box unchecked. I think it will be less confusing for buyers that way.
I thought the check box would apply only to bulk discounts, but it looks like it applies to everything.
I’m sorry for misunderstanding you. Please, submit ticket to helpdesk, we’ll try to solve it later this week.
Hi there, I’ve setup a rule to provide a % discount on products on 2 different categories, but when I add products of different categories (including the ones that I’ve added the rule to) to the cart all of them gets the discount.
Is this a known bug?
Thanks

hi J
Could you share the screenshot of active rule ?
thanks, Alex
Hi Alex, thanks for the plugin!
I guess I wasn’t using the rules properly 🙂
It’s working like a charm.
