Thanks for your question. You can use MLA’s Bulk Edit features to edit item content in a variety of ways. This has come up in earlier topics such as:

All images has the same title, alt, description

Map title to alt text (contains links to several other related topics)

Bulk Edit: Title, Alt Tag, descripion and so on broken on &

You can find more information regarding the Bulk Edit area by clicking the “Help” link in the upper-right corner of the Media/Assistant screen and finding the Bulk Actions tab in the help menu.

MLA also provides a “bulk edit” area in the Media/Add New (Upload New Media) admin screen. On that screen MLA adds a button, “Open Bulk Edit area”. When the button is clicked a form opens up with places to add taxonomy terms and other values to the items as they are uploaded.

As you will see, you can use Content Templates to compose new values for item content from a large number of data sources. You can find details and examples in the Settings/Media Library Assistant Documentation tab. Have a look at the “Regular Expressions Features” section of the Documentation tab as well.

I hope that gets you started on using MLA to bulk edit the values in your Media Library items. I am marking this topic resolved, but please update it if you have any problems or further questions regarding the above suggestions. Thanks for your interest in the plugin.
