Hey @izzyforeal,
There are a couple of different options for you. One would be to add the images with the built in CSV import/export tool. You could add/update all the variations in a CSV file with a spreadsheet app and then import them all at once into WooCommerce. That would set all the variations up to use the correct images.
Another option might be to use a plugin for bulk editing products. There is a free one here at ww.wp.xz.cn that says it can do this for product thumbnails. I haven’t tested it, but it might be another option.

@3sonsdevelopment, hello and thank you for the reply. I have tried that plugin and made a few changes but it screwed up other things so I uninstalled it. The CSV option sounds perfect but I don’t know how I would even begin to input or import such a thing. Do you have an example?
Thanks for letting me know about that plugin. Sorry to hear it didn’t work for you.
Here’s what my wife does. She gets a product set up on her site exactly as she wants it. Then she exports it and edits it to make it into a new product(s).
Then she imports them back into the store to add the new ones. She used that method to turn 100 manually created products into over 3000.
The documentation can also help you out with it.

@3sonsdevelopment Ok, here’s what I have with the CSV file I created. It did not import the attributes or the variables. Additionally there is nowhere to upload the images in the CSV file. When I insert the attributes myself, I usually select the colors variation and create a size one for each item that looks like this S | M | L | etc as I don’t know how to save it like that in the attributes section to preserve the tick box on the products for size. I do have one done correctly for the colors. When i select each color it appears as a swatch on the products page. So I need help with the CSV. I don’t know what is protocol on these forums, can we do a screen share or phone call to speed this up?
Hi @izzyforeal,
Thank you for replying back, and sorry for the wait on this reply! Lets tackle this a bit at a time 🙂

What 3Sons was mentioning is that it is actually good to create a product from scratch with the attributes in WooCommerce, and then export that product out. This allows you to see what it looks like in the exported file. You can also add some images (not necessarily the correct ones, but you can place the correct ones in the test product to get the link to them).
For saving the attributes, be sure you have the checkbox Used in Variations selected, as seen in this documentation, so that it will use those attributes automatically.
Exporting the product out is covered in our CSV Export Tool guide. Once you have the item exported, then you can see the fields required in your own Import CSV file, and then import that file. It should contain the correct information 🙂

We do not have phone support or screen sharing capabilities, but you can reach out to your Host depending on who it ism, and they should be able to assist with the CSV file 🙂
