Bulk optimization not working anymore
-
Hi, from some weeks to now, bulk optimization is not longer available since I got an error message saying “Fatal error occurred. Please check administrator’s email tray to get instructions”… I already got the Unlimited Plan…
Thanks a lot… =)-

Hey @liquidazona
Sorry to hear about the issue!
Did you check the email associated with your admin account? Did you get any useful info from that one?
If not, can you confirm the issue is happening only on Bulk optimization page? And does it work if you optimize a single image from Media Library page?
If you have a lot of images (e.g. more than 10.000), it could be the problem as it might get stuck when trying to check them from the Bulk optimization page, so let me know if that’s the case.
Best Regards
MarkoHey @liquidazona

MarkoHello, Marko… Sorry for not replying fast and thanks a lot for following up…
Sorry also to say I didn’t receive any information on my email tray and the issue is still goin on, the bulk optimization is not working… However, I’m able to optimize the images, one by one, thru media library, and the automatic optimization for recently uploaded media is working as well… Need to point out also to the fact I’m having many uploaded pictures as it’s necessary for my site… So it might be, as you said, a problem about getting stuck due to this??…
Thank you for the support, regards…

Hey @liquidazona
No worries at all.
If you go to Tools > Site Health, you might find the cause of the problem.
Also, this guide from our Documentation might be helpful.
My main suspect is the memory limit which prevents Bulk optimization to start.
Other than that, you can use Screen Option settings to increase number of items per page in your Media Library (it’s 20 by default).
Let me know if you need any further assistance, I am happy to help.
Best Regards
MarkoHello, Marko…
I already installed and ran the Helper Plugin after reading the Documentation you pointed for me up… I got 3 red backgrounds…
Imagify Filesystem
$filesystem->get_abspath() (WordPress’ root)
/wordpress/core/5.8/
Should be an absolute path and start with /srv/htdocs/.Image Editor Component
Imagick
Failed existance test.Media
Attachments with invalid or missing WP metas
CLEAR CACHE (cache cleared in less than 30 minutes)I have to say also the WEBP insertion is not working either…
Hope you can help me from here… Thanks in advance… =)

Hey @liquidazona
Thanks! It looks like there is a problem in the File system. You can try to install this helper plugin (download ZIP file and install it via Plugins > Add New > Upload).
Then try again.
Let’s see if it will fix the problem so we can focus on WebP – I believe this post from our documentation could help you to see some exceptions when WebP will not be displayed.
Let me know if you need any further assistance, I am happy to help.
Best Regards

Hello, sorry for the hassle…
I didn’t receive any update about this issue so far… Hope you’re still with me…
Thanks…
Hi @liquidazona
This is Ioanna from Imagify here.
Thank you so much for all the updates.
I see that my colleague Marko has already suggested all the possible ways in order to be fixed.
According to the critical error you are still receiving, what could work for you in this case, is to contact your host provider in order to check the error logs on your server. They might be able to provide any insights regarding the issue. Please let me know if that helps you.
Best regards,
IoannaHello, Ioanna… Thanks for the support…
I already contacted my WordPress host support, I asked for any possible errors showing there and the engineer said: “I don’t see any fatal errors here. What issues are you seeing specifically?”…
I showed them the screenshots I already sent to you and they pointed out that should be the path issue what is not working… Also added: “However, this would be related to the site files. We don’t offer support in fixing this. I would report this back to Imagify and see what they recommend doing about this. No doubt this is not an uncommon thing to see on their end.”…
So, what’s the best to do now??… Regards…
Hi @liquidazona
Thank you for the feedback.
In this case, it would be ideal if you create a ticket through our support system here so we can investigate it further.
Best regards,
Ioanna -
