Bulk Optimize does not start at all

    I just installed the latest version of the plugin (1.9.3) with the default configuration. When I press ‘Import Images’ it immediately gives me the ‘Temporary failure, retrying for 30 more seconds’ response and after that: ‘Operation Interrupted’

    When I go to my media library and I optimize images individually it works fine. But also when I select multiple images in my media library and select Bulk Optimize from the Bulk Options, I get the same messages.

    I enabled debugging, but it does not show me an error message as far as I can see.

    Does anyone have an idea?

    That looks like a javascript error. Turn on the javascript console in your browser, and see if you are getting any errors there (you should be).

    Yes there is:

    wp-admin/admin-ajax.php 500 (Internal Server Error)

    I disabled iThemes Security plugin (which also blocked my Piwik Plugin to work since their latest update) and now it works.

    It seems that iThemes Security is blocking a lot more than before, without settings to switch things of or exclude specific files/folders.
