Just installed Ewww and tried to bulk optimize images. I started the bulk optimization yesterday and the process started working fine.

Today, I added some new plugins to my site – WP Super Cache and Autoptimize – and now the bulk optimize does not work.

When I go to the bulk optimize page and click “Start Optimizing” the page just kind of reloads without doing anything else.

Using Chrome 45.0.2454.99 on a MacBook Air.

    Thanks, J

    Update to this.

I disabled the Remove Query Strings from Static Resources plugin and reactivated EWWW. Now, instead of getting the above error, when I clck the Bulk Optimize link, I just get a blank white page.

My status and debug info is here:

That all looks good, but a blank white screen is a lot more serious error than the page just reloading. The first one seemed likely to just be a javascript error, but the second seems like some sort of internal server error. There are a couple things we can try here. First, enable debugging in your wp-config.php file (in the root of your wordpress folder). Then try loading the Bulk Optimize again and see if it outputs an error message.
If not, you’ll need to check your server’s error logs. Check with your webhost if you don’t have direct access to those.
