Bulk processing not works

    Hello, having a problem with Magic Post Thumbnail plugin – although working on per post creation update it still not works as Bulk processing neither with bulk edit option at Post list, nor within plugin cron option. Aside, greatly useful plugin shortcoming the images lookup. Please provide some advising in order to have it working for multiple processing.

    Hello,
    Thanks for your report.

    I’ve tried bulk generation with the latest WordPress version (4.9) and it works.
    Are you sure you did it correctly ? Did you choose posts without thumbnail, choose “Generate Magic Post thumbnail” and apply ?

    Hello, thank you for responding,

    tested again, as you’ve indicated existing thumbnails as issue, I’ve tried disabling all image related plugins still without success, Bulk function not works both on post list and also within cron option.
    I’ve also updated to the latest 4.9 version – from 4.83
    Another cause I think about is php version, have you test it using PHP 7+, as my WP install in question is working with PHP 7.0 ?
    Also I could try inspecting the code compatibility if you have not tested that.

    So I tried with php 7.0 and in my case, it works also !
    Maybe there is something special with your config ?

    If you can send me access to your install to let me see the problem deeper, or your phpinfo or something that could help me to solve your problem, send it to contact [a] magic-post-thumbnail.com
