Yes, after clicking bulk smush it should smush 50 images in free version.
Can you run theme/plugin conflict test to see if this is not caused by other plugin or theme?
Also please check if there is any error in browser console when you click button to start bulk smushing. https://developer.chrome.com/devtools

Found the issue.
If I de-activated my WP Media Folder plugin, bulk smushing works fine (albeit very slow).
What to do now? I can’t very well keep that plug in de-activated for Smush to work.
Hello @talonhead, We’ve a release due shortly, I’d probably test that up, and check out if the issue is really because of the conflict or if it is something else.
And if it’s there, I’ll patch it up and include it in the release.

Actually, I looked at it a bit closer. I updated Media Folder and de-activated everything else. It worked fine. Then I proceeded to activate each one to pinpoint an error.
Then I found one with a gallery plugin I use. Back to the same problem with Smush It.
Thoughts on this? I’m not sure if it was an older version of Media Folder that caused the conflict as well, but that’s what I have so far to report.
Thoughts on how to fix this?
@talonhead, What gallery plugin it is that you’re using?
If you can confirm the conflict, I can probably mock up a setup and see if it’s really happening.
