Bulk upload format

Hello

I am planning on using the store locator plus, but will need to do a bulk upload as we have 3200 dealer locations that sell our products.

My question is is there a specific format that would best import? Can I just import an excel spreadsheet?

I was going to collect the data in a mysql database. Or is there an easy way to have the dealers fill out a store entry without having to login?

Whats the easiest process?
