• Hello recently two of my sites in same server were hacked to death. All DB gone, all images gone. Just a skull face floating in the front page.

OK, I have rebuilt them and I want to add security to it by using the Bullet Proof Security Plugin.

So I have installed the plugin and activated it and did the setup wizard. Do I need to do anything more?

The plugin has been activated, the wizard has been run. Are they enough to protect my site?

    Thank you.

It sounds like you have done that at each site, and that would mean you have “hardened WordPress” in the best way I know if you now have the BPS Secure .htaccess in place at your “root” and wp-admin folders. I also use the suggested permissions you can find there in BPS as well as some of the extras available for Custom Code. Going through all of that might seem daunting at first, but no intruder has ever gotten past BPS at any of my sites.

NinjaFirewall is a plugin that can stop some malicious traffic before it can ever even get to WordPress, but I do not know whether it can actually stop something BPS would soon handle anyway. In my own case, however, I have the stand-alone version of NinjaFirewall added at my primary domain where it filters all traffic going to any domain.

Here is the BPS Support Forum where AITpro always answers all questions and will help you in any way he possibly can: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/bulletproof-security
