I have BulletProof Security with Speed Boost activated. It works great but Im looking to improve speed even more. I was also looking into Hyper Cache plugin and have 2 questions.

    1) Compatibility: Are BulletProof Security Speed Boost and Hyper Cache compatible? (It seems that Hyper Cache does not use htaccess file so at least that part should not have conflicts.)

    2) Redundancy: Is running Hyper Cache with BulletProof Security Speed Boost redundant? Do they both cache the same tings or are there areas that Speed Boost does not cover but Hyper Cache does?

    any input would be appreciated,

    Thank you

The last time I tested Hyper Cache was around 2 years ago. I believe there are not any issues/problems between the plugins since no one has ever reported any kind of issue or problems.

I am not really sure about the redundancy question. Do some benchmark testing by adding and removing the Speed Boost Cache code and see if there is any speed difference. The Speed Boost Cache code is Browser cache code and I assume Hyper Cache is already doing that.

I installed Hyper Cache along side BulletProof Security Speed Boost. It worked fine, No errors.

I did not do benchmark testing but I ran a few before and after tests using GT Matrix, Yslow in Firefox, Pingdom, and Google Page Speed and found no significant improvement. There is no reason to run Hyper cache if Speed boost is running.

    Resolved,

    Thanks
