Bundle product image shows variation image + translations reset after update

Hello,

I am using the WPC Product Bundles for WooCommerce plugin and I am experiencing two issues that I would like to clarify. 1. Bundle product image is replaced by a variation image

When a bundle contains a variable product, the main image of the bundle product is automatically replaced by the image of one of the product variations included in the bundle.

Even if a featured image is set for the bundle itself, the frontend displays a variation image instead.
Could you please explain:

• why this behavior occurs?
• whether it is expected by design or caused by a conflict?
• if there is a way to force the bundle to always display its own featured image?

2. Translations are lost after each plugin update

We are using a multilingual setup (WPML / translations).
After every plugin update, the translated text related to the “required product variation selection” must be translated again.

It looks like the strings are either:

• regenerated on update, or
• not stored in a translation-safe way.

Could you please advise:

• how translations should be handled correctly with this plugin?
• whether this is a known issue?
• if there is a recommended workaround to prevent translations from being reset after updates?

Environment

• WooCommerce: version 10.4.2
• WPC Product Bundles for WooCommerce (Premium): version 8.4.1
• WordPress: version 6.8.3
